Since the beginning of 2011, the Valea Cetatii Cave (Fundata) can be accessed by everyone, not just enthusiasts, access to the cave being very difficult before the cave was introduced into the Romanian tourist circuit. Since then, there were created access locations for visitors, and sidewalks, railings, walkways, bumpers, ladders and a lighting system was created inside the cave. Underground scenery will leave you breathless.
You can access the cave by car from the road DN1E Braşov-Poiana Braşov-Râşnov, following the Valea Cetăţii route, until its confluence with Valea Fundata where, at km 19,4, there is a modern parking specially arranged for the visitors of the cave and the surrounding protected area.
Occasionally, due to the special acoustics of the cave, the Brasov Philharmonic concerts in the cave.
